GTA and 5/5

First. GTA IV hit the shelves Tuesday. 70% of my XBL friends list were playing. I will not. Not because of content, but I’m more of a first-person tactical shooter fan. However, I do not believe that games make kids violent. And I have proof.

You know, it’s called a G-A-M-E and if you kids can’t tell the difference between make believe and real life, stop letting them watch Harry Potter movies and quit using the TV and Playstation as an excuse to sit in your bedroom and watch All My Children, Dancing with the Stars and the fraking Simpons. When I was a kid, it was D&D. How it corrupted young minds and made then Satan-worshippers… now it’s violent games and movies. How about you enforce the R rating in your house for a change and make your kids a priority rather than your job or your beer consumption? <end rant>

Oh, and I have a Cinco de Mayo slogan for everyone. I was thinking, you know CdM is a MEXICAN holiday – their Fourth of July. So, a trip to Wikipedia and lo and behold! They celebrate freedom from FRANCE – heck, I’d celebrate too!

So I figured I’d take this chance to unify us:

CINCO DE MAYO:

because we all like giving the finger to France

So, there ya go! Oh, and first night on the new mattress – about an 6 of 10 (because those 4 stars are reserved for SOMEONE).

And, OMG. This is funny.
