Yearly insurance coverage renewal.  You see, since I can remember, my wife and I have been subjects of the great HMO.  And, all-in-all, no complaints &#8211; a back surgery (spinal laminectomy with microdissection of L5S1 disc), birth of 3 kids, a stint for pneumonia&#8230; We&#8217;ve benefited from the most extreme coverage.  However, our ER and hospital visits are so few and far between&#8230; we have switched to a PPO-like coverage.  It&#8217;s going to provide about $40 more a payperiod in my pocket, but it going to have a side benefit.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s going to force us to be health<em><strong>ier<\/strong><\/em>. You see, if I do what I&#8217;m supposed to &#8211; eat right, loose the sweets and cut back on processed foods and get my slow as-teroid back on the bike&#8230; I AM healthy.<\/p>\n<p>And when you&#8217;re healthy, you get a little more <em>bow-chicka-wow-wow<\/em>&#8230; er&#8230; uh.. i mean less sick.
