Hello Dolly

BANG! Dolly is upon us in Texas.

What’s really funny is this – my wife came home worried about the conditions in Houston today based on what the news was saying.

Having kept an eye on the storm (no pun intended), I knew we’d get some rain, but COME ON… scaring people because of 1-5 inches of rain and 15 MPH winds? We’ve gotten 3 storms this year that have dumped 3-6 inches and 35 MPH winds.

I know SOME of us are a little gun-shy from Rita, but let’s get our heads out of our butts and be realistic. Let the dummies flood their cars and those of us that know what the roads do in rain – we’ll continue on as usual. Maybe I can flood a whiner with my SUV on Space Center…
